In accordance with the principle of “industrial centralization, industry concentration and land consolidation”, Jinnan Development Area builds a new type of industrial area with features and has preliminarily formed industrial development mode of “Develop Secondary Industry and Prosper Tertiary Industry”. The centralized mode of three dominant industries as electronic information, mechanical equipment and plastic products has been formed in industry manufacturing. Combining its development characteristics and taking industry positioning as center, Jinnan Development Area will take great efforts to foster Sci-tech and scale-typed enterprises within the next five years; relying on scale-typed industry advantage of Binhai New Area, it will greatly develop secondary market with core techniques support, i.e. develop by means of the situation; Depending on its centralized advantages of dominant industries, it will further expand industrial chains of dominant industries, i.e. create the situation to develop; it will also endeavor to improve the development and introduction of industries with high technology, low energy consumption and no pollution, such as new material, new energy and new technique industries, etc. At the same time of all-round investment attracting and key driving, speed up to form a north distributing center for mechanical and metal products, this integrates functions as trade, logistics, manufacture, processing, demonstration and information-based management, etc. Improve gross amount of the tertiary industry in the Development Area.

In accordance with the Guide of Foreign Investment Industry Layout in Tianjin Development Areas of Tianjin, Jinna Economic Development Area will prominently construct industrial demonstration zone for micro-electronics components and emphasize to introduce micro-electronics projects as electronic products and components, etc. Electronic information Industry has been one of dominant industries in Jinnan Development Area all along. | At the beginning of 2005, Jinnan Development Area successfully introduced Tianjin Plastic Group Co., Ltd to settle here. This new important strength was brought into the development of plastic product industry in the Area and established solid foundation for building plastic industry base. Utilizing the pilotage status of Plastic Group, the Development Area “made a nest for attracting phoenix” and attracted many enterprises for plastic product in succession, especially the Taiwan Company which is at leading status in plastic industry, e.g. Taiwan Kingswel Group, which is a leader of plastic equipment manufacturing, has successfully establishes factory in the Development Area. Manufacturing and processing industry of mechanical equipment is one which has good development tendency and quick economic benefit increase in the near future. With the eastward movement of Tiangang and Tiantie projects as well as the strong industry foundation formed by Big Seamless Steel Pipe, downstream of Haihe has gradually become metallurgical industry base of Tianjin. Because Jinnan Development Area nears by edge of the industry base, it introduced a lot of mechanical equipment manufacturing and processing enterprises with large investment scale and good economic benefits.
